Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!
The Update:
*We read some more classic stories and talked about what is make-believe.!
*We learned all about the letter Bb-- we said it, we learned the sound, we learned to recognize it, we read My Bb Book, we built it with wooden pieces, we learned how to write it, we brought sharing and talked about it, and we wrote about it. After being immersed in it, we are hoping that your child will know it. Please practice it -- along with the letter Tt, Mm, Ss, Cc, Hh, Ww, Uu, Ii, Dd, and Ll.
*Remember the Frog Friend Challenge! Let’s work on memorizing our friends’ names and earn a frog keychain! Keep practicing! OUR GOAL IS 100%! Both classes are almost there!

This Coming Week:
* We are finishing our theme of Compare and Contrast– continuing with "Opposites."
*Our Cupful Feast is coming up on Friday 11/22 – and we sent home a cup to prepare. Please put your child’s favorite snack in the cup and return it by Wednesday 11/20.
*Please remember that Friday, November 22nd is also a PM in the AM day . . . then it is Thanksgiving break!

This week we will continue our letter of the week with the Pp sharing homework. Please make sure you are creating the homework TOGETHER so your child will know the clues when they share, The completed clue sheet should be returned inside the orange folder on the same day as the object in the bag. Please help your child practice saying the clues. The other students will use their inferencing skills to listen to the clues and guess what could be in the sharing bag. Once shared, these items will come back home. Thank you for helping your student understand the importance of completing this homework in a timely manner.
Some reminders:
The November behavior calendar must remain in the orange Fox Folder every day. Please make sure that you write their PBIS point amounts on there daily. The students will be getting responsibility PBIS points for returning it daily along with having it signed. "Shopping Day" is Friday!
Please label all jackets, sweatshirts, and UMBRELLAS, etc.
Please help your child pack a water bottle daily.
